Notification and reminder help.
Use this checklist if a vitamin reminder did not show up when expected.
Check your schedule first
A reminder needs a saved schedule with the correct time, days, and timezone.
Check device permissions
On iPhone or Android, confirm notifications are allowed for Vitamin Alerts in your system settings.
Check app registration
The app needs to register your device for push reminders. Signing out, reinstalling, or changing devices may require opening the app again.
Customize your alerts
Open Settings, then Alert Customization, to choose reminder wording, one of the bundled Vitamin Alerts sounds, sound intensity, grouped alerts, and dosage details. Use Send test alert to preview the selected sound on your device.
Denied permissions
If notifications were denied, you can keep using the app. Enable notifications later in device settings and return to the app.
Reminder text stays simple and avoids sensitive health details.
